"I have been using MathType since 2002, to edit the equations in the lists of errata used by Addison-Wesley to correct errors in The Feynman Lectures on Physics. I also used MathType to edit all the equations in the manuscript of Feynman's Tips on Physics, by Feynman, Gottlieb and Leighton. Currently, my colleagues and I are working on an electronic source for The Feynman Lectures, in LaTeX and JavaScript. Since I am new to LaTeX, and anyway prefer a WYSIWYG editor, I find it very comfortable and convenient to edit equations in MathType and then paste them into our source using MathType's built-in TeX translators."
