The following utility file packages have been contributed by various DERIVE users and will run with DERIVE version 3 and greater:
CURV_FIT Curve fitting package
FUN Special mathematical function package
HERMITE Interpolating polynomial package
ODE Exact first and second order ODE package
PSERIES Power series package
ROMB_INT Romberg integration package
SECANT Secant approximation package
SPLINE Cubic spline package
TAY_ODE Approximate first and second order ODE package
TENSOR Tensor algebra and analysis package
These packages enhance the built-in capabilities provided by DERIVE. Corresponding to each MTH file is a DOC file that documents the package. Some packages also have a DMO file that can be run after the MTH file is loaded.
If you have DERIVE Version 3 and you can obtain these files from the US Derive website.
The packages will appear as a 60 kilobyte file named USERS.ZIP on your computer. To generate the individual MTH, DOC, and DMO files, you will need to unzip the file USERS.ZIP using the PK unzip program.
If you have questions about a package, contact the package's author directly. The author's name is given in the package's DOC file.
Note that to save space when loading these MTH files into DERIVE Version 3, use a Transfer Load Utility command rather than a Transfer Load Derive command.
