Problems in Aplusix

1. What are problems in Aplusix?

Problems in Aplusix are made of section, each section having a text area in which figures can be inserted. Problems are stored in files and are accessible with the “Open” item of the “File” menu.

Teachers can build problems with the AplusixEditor program.

2. A section with a simple answer

This is a section with a simple expected answer which has been provided by the teacher. As the teacher has chosen to compare the student’s answer and the expected answer by equivalence, Mary can input either x² or xx. After the input of the answer, Mary has to click on the “END” button (meaning “End of the section”).

3. A section with a calculation area

Mary has answer to the first section and is answering to the second section. Here, it is a calculation area: she has input the answer, then to click on the small arrow and calculate the simplified form of the answer.
