Choosing exercises
On the toolbar, the button “The Map” allows to access to 38 families of exercises represented as dots.
Each Family contains about 10 exercises. The selected Family is described at the bottom of the window.
The exercises are built from patterns with a random choice of the coefficients. As a consequence, the student can choose a family several times, the exercises will change each time.
The student can launch the Family in the Training mode or in the Test mode.
The Map is provided with Aplusix and cannot be changed by the teachers.
Exercises can be loaded from files. Files can be produced by teachers with the AplusixEditor program and exchanged between teachers.
The mode (Training or Test) can be written in the file. When it is not, then student has to choose the mode.
By clicking on the New sheet button, the student gets an empty sheet where it is possible to input the expression of an exercise and the type of the exercise. The exercise can be chosen in a textbook, a list on paper provided by the teacher…
In that case, the mode is “Training”.
